Terms and Conditions of Licence to Access and Use the Triple P Communications Materials, the Triple P Logo, the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools.
Section A. The Triple P Communications Materials and the Triple P Logo
1 Triple P Communications Materials to be supplied by TPI and the conditions upon which they are supplied:
1.1 The rationale upon which Triple P Communications Materials are made available to you
(a) The Triple P Communications Materials are the various materials supplied by TPI to you which will be useful to you in any promotional campaign generally or media campaign specifically which you might wish to conduct in relation to your efforts to raise your community’s awareness of the benefits of the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program® (“Triple P”) and/or to engage as many people as possible to undertake Triple P Provider Training Courses conducted by you, or on your organisation’s behalf by a Triple P Trainer.(b) This is a specific suite of materials within the Triple P Resources (Promotional) category. The Triple P Communications Materials which will be made available by TPI to you very much depends upon your specific needs and, more particularly, the scope of your proposed use of Triple P and the demographic which you are targeting.
(a) The Triple P Communications Materials are the various materials supplied by TPI to you which will be useful to you in any promotional campaign generally or media campaign specifically which you might wish to conduct in relation to your efforts to raise your community’s awareness of the benefits of the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program® (“Triple P”) and/or to engage as many people as possible to undertake Triple P Provider Training Courses conducted by you, or on your organisation’s behalf by a Triple P Trainer.
(b) This is a specific suite of materials within the Triple P Resources (Promotional) category. The Triple P Communications Materials which will be made available by TPI to you very much depends upon your specific needs and, more particularly, the scope of your proposed use of Triple P and the demographic which you are targeting.
1.2 The Triple P Communications Materials which TPI shall supply to you for downloading from this websiteOnce TPI has assessed your specific requirements, TPI shall supply various English language Triple P Communications Materials for you to download from this website.
1.3 The Triple P LogoYou may download the Triple P Logo from this website in its English version or in any of its language specific variations provided you agree to the Terms and Conditions set-out herein.
1.4 The forms in which the Triple P Communications Materials will be provided to youThe Triple P Communications Materials will be available from this website in formats which TPI considers most appropriate for any particular item of the Triple P Communications Materials. The formats will be as follows:-

2 The Terms and Conditions upon your use of the Triple P Communications Materials and the Triple P Logo:
2.1 Triple P Communications Materials and Triple P Logo are made available(a) The Triple P Communications Materials and Triple P Logo are made available for you to download from this website upon certain Terms and Conditions.(b) You are required to acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions by checking the “I Accept” checkbox which appears at the foot of this document.
2.2 The Terms and Conditions to which you agree
(a) In the event that you need to translate any of the Triple P Communications Materials into a language other than English you shall translate those Triple P Communications Materials at your own expense.
(b) In relation to any such translation you undertake the following:-
(i) to use the Triple P Communications Materials only for the purpose of any promotional campaign generally or media campaign specifically which you might wish to conduct in relation to your efforts to raise people’s awareness of the benefits of the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program® and/or to engage as many people as possible to undertake Triple P Provider Training Courses conducted by you, or, if you are an organisation, on your organisation’s behalf by a Triple P Trainer;(ii) to not modify the content of any of the downloaded Triple P Communications Materials;(iii) to not attribute authorship of items attributed to Professor Sanders to a person other than Professor Sanders;(iv) to provide copies of any translated versions of the Triple P Communications Materials to TPI either prior to publication or within 14 days of their publication;(v) to assign to TPI upon its creation copyright in the translated versions of the Triple P Communications Materials;
(c) In the event that you consider it desirable to make an alteration of any kind to any of the Triple P Communications Materials you must seek and obtain prior approval from TPI to which you shall provide details of the proposed change and the reasons therefor;
(d) Authorship credit of print articles from the Triple P Communications Materials, if accessed by you, must be published in accordance with the wording which exists in the Triple P Communications Materials you download;
(e) You should utilise, whenever and wherever it is appropriate to do so, the Triple P Logo with the Triple P Communications Materials;
(f) In the event that you download the Triple P Logo you shall:-
(i) maintain a consistent use of colour and positioning throughout all media in which the Triple P Logo is used such as stationery, documents, publications, signage and livery;(ii) utilise only the downloaded Triple P Logo which is available in black and white and colour versions and not from photocopied or pre-printed material;(iii) not redraw the Triple P Logo in any way other than to, if required, relatively scale the logo to increase or decrease the size down to but not below, the set minimum width of 2 cm; (iv) not manipulate the logo in a manner which would cause distortion;
(v) not use the Triple P Logo on any materials other than materials which are utilised in conjunction with the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program®;(vi) not use the Triple P Logo in, as, or as part of, your own trademarks or logos in the event that you do have your own trademarks and/or logos;(vii) not use the Triple P Logo to identify activities, products, and services which are not activities, products, and services which form part of the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program®;(viii) not use the Triple P Logo in a manner likely to cause confusion in any way;(ix) not use the Triple P Logo in a manner that inaccurately implies that Triple P International Pty Ltd, or the University of Queensland sponsors, endorses, or is otherwise connected with any of your activities, products, and services which are not activities, products, and services which form part of the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program®;
(x) not use the Triple P Logo in any manner that disparages Triple P International Pty Ltd, or the University of Queensland generally or the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program® and its products, or services specifically.
2.3 Licence granted upon your acceptance of the above Terms and Conditions: In the event that you choose to accept the above Terms and Conditions Triple P International grants to you a non-exclusive, non-assignable, revocable, royalty-free licence, without the right to sublicense, to use the Triple P Communications Materials and Triple P Logo in any promotional campaign generally or media campaign specifically which you might wish to conduct in relation to your efforts to raise people’s awareness of the benefits of the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program® and/or to engage as many people as possible to undertake Triple P Provider Training Courses conducted by you, or on your organisation’s behalf by a Triple P Trainer.
Section B. Terms and Conditions of Use and Access to the Scoring Application and other Clinical ToolsAll use of and access to pages of this website and the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools is subject to the terms and conditions of use and access set out below. By using or accessing this website and/or the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1 The Scoring Application and other Clinical ToolsThe Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools are made available to facilitate a pooling of de-identified data which will be available to all Triple P Practitioners for research purposes.
2 Data ManagementIt will be the individual Triple P Practitioner’s responsibility to ensure that a backup of their data uploaded to this website is made and stored by them. This means that risks to their clinical information system are minimal.Data Use and Privacy
3.1 TPI protects confidential dataTPI understands the need to protect clinical information and confidential data and assures all Triple P Practitioners that information is held in confidence.
3.2 Special regard to Health Information
(a) The Privacy Act does place a special emphasis on ‘health information’ that identifies a particular patient. Health information is specifically defined to include any personal information collected by a health service provider during the course of providing treatment and care to an individual.
(b) As a matter of best practice, each Triple P Practitioner should inform their patients of the possible uses of the statistical data, and should ensure that no clients have any objections to its use in this manner, by providing ability for clients to register those objections or bring them to the attention of the Triple P Practitioner.
(c) The process of consent relating to the individual client rests with the client and the Triple P Practitioner. When the client provides any information or data to the Triple P Practitioner, there should be a clear explicit understanding between them that the Triple P Practitioner, TPI, and The University of Queensland and their clinicians and staff will use the data for ongoing quality improvement in clinical assessment, practice systems and service delivery of the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program®.
4 Information to third partiesDe-identified data collected by TPI is further aggregated, so it is not possible to identify individual clients. Data will be aggregated at to provide population health data. Aggregated, de-identified regional data may be reported to The University of Queensland’s Parenting and Family Support Centre for research purposes.
5 Disclaimer
(a) Triple P International P/L (“TPI”) operates this website to allow information and resources in relation to clinical and other relevant data to be freely available to Triple P Practitioners.
(b) This website is not intended in any way to replace the input of a psychologist or other appropriately qualified health adviser where such input is appropriate. It is the responsibility of all users of the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools on this website to ensure that such use is appropriate and correct in light of particular clinical circumstances and user environments and requirements.

10 Terms of use of the Scoring Application and other Clinical ToolsBroadly speaking, the conditions upon which the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools may be freely used are as follows:-
(a) the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools are and will at all times remain the Intellectual Property of The University of Queensland;
(b) clinical and other users of information technology systems which rely upon the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools must assume responsibility for ensuring that the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools used within their specific information technology system meet the requirements of the specific clinical setting and purpose for which they were originally intended. TPI will not be responsible for any issues or loss or claims arising from any inappropriate use of the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools
(c) users of the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools must assume responsibility for seeking information on updates for the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools;
(d) clinical and other users must not change or adjust the Scoring Application and other Clinical Tools for their own needs regardless of the circumstances. All changes must only be effected by TPI after consultation with The University of Queensland.
